Ok, ok. I promised a post about anime awhile back. The thing is, is that I rather have more of a review base for the show I’ll talk about then me rambling about it.

So until then I’ll talk about CAVE STORY!!1 (topic title is the original Japanese name of the game) 

Cave story is a wonderful freeware game that started out in just plain Japanese. It was then (loosely) translated to Cave story. I will say that the dialogue dose make sense but you’ll see why I say loosely translated. It stars you a nameless amnesiac. A species of rabbit people. A scattered family. and villains.

As you can tell by the name the game takes place mostly in caves. The game throws you into itself without any explanation. The story is really good and blah blah blah. 

Mainly I want to talk about how much I’ve been playing it, and how it’s probably on my list of top games I’ve ever played.

So I’ve been playing through the wiiware and DSi versions of the game (which really updated the translation of the game) and really it’s all I’ve been playing. 

Currently on both versions I’m stuck on the sacred grounds which IS hell. So the weapons I use the most are.

The Spur: Just badass. Is THE best weapon in the game.

Blade: How can you not love it. It’s level 1 and 2 are really strong. even with its glass cannon 3rd level.

Fireball: Mostly because its a good spam weapon for bosses on the ground.

Bubbler/Bubbline: Really good shield on level 3, level 2 is good for combat. Level 1 is magikarp.

If your wondering why I don’t have the missiles. It’s because I don’t use them only get them for completion. This is, is YES they are powerful on level 3. The only boss is use it on is the Red demon since the spur is a BIT slow.

So yeah. I’ve really been addicted to this game lately and it will stick that it’s one of my fav games.

OK I’d like to talk about and get out everything, about a situation I somehow got in lately.

It all started last year during the second trimester. In my seventh hour there was a girl (who I shall not name) After a few days we became friends. A bit after that I started to see that she was intelligent, a bit artistic (she wrote a few “dark” stories), an all around good person, and really the complete opposite of me. I REALLY started to like her. I mean I wanted to get to know her on a more intimate level. Well after a few weeks near the end of the tri, she found out I liked her. Not to big of a deal right? No, the biggest asshole I knew told her. In the worst way. So I thought she hated me. In the end we stayed friends.

The 3rd tri started and I had no classes with her, and hadn’t made any contact with her at all. Near the end of the tri we started talking again. She got a Gmail, and my friend (who is also he friend) gave her my email. So we started talking, and  a HUGE serge of lost emotions towards this girl came back to me all at once, not a good thing when your a bit depressed. So I was a bit crazy.

After that weekend of being a douchebag, I apologised to her and she forgave me and we talked all summer. I once asked her “hypothetically” that if I was to asked her is she wanted to date through the internet (since her parents are really strict and mean), what her initial thoughts would be. She never game be an answer then, but a week or so later she told me yes. So she basically asked me to date her through the internet since I never really asked her just brought up the idea. That week she said she’d try. Was slow and kinda depressing. Either way we stayed friends and stopped really talking so much.

When the new school year started she contacted me by emailing my phone. We decided to hang out after school (in the school) and talk in person, since we haven’t in so long. That after noon is where things went to hell. I was having out with my friend catching up on the summer as she ran around with her friend being a bit immature. She started talking to me and my friend and kept being kinda annoying, she then some how insulted me. I didn’t catch the whole insult but how she acted and said it, it was an insult directed towards me. So all 3 of us started walking and talking. We some how got on the topic of how she’s ALWAYS wanted to see, or talk to, or find  my friend (the one with us currently). So I jokingly said that it seemed to have some sick fascination with him. Then comes insult 2 she basically told me I shouldn’t be talking, she said it in such a way that it was incredibly rude. After that we then got on the topic of religion (somehow) and I said my opinion that I don’t care for religion and think its a bit stupid. Not insulting anyone (or directly at least) with that comment. She then goes to say that it’s better than my stupid video games. That was the last straw.

Your now thinking all these insults she gave are pretty stupid and I shouldn’t be bothered by them. The thing is, is that I already had a bad day before this so I was stressed. Plus they were all so sudden and random.

I basically then said “Fuck you bitch!” and walked off to wait for my dad to pick me up. My friend wanted me to come back but she dragged him off. Since then I’ve had no contact with her at all.

I’m sitting in the middle of one of my classes, when I get called to the guidance office. I’m leaving to go there and my thoughts through the halls are, that I’m getting called down because of a problem I’m having with a class. When I get there my counsellor says the complete opposite of what I was expecting. “Some kids have been coming in and saying they’re worried your harassing some one. Do you know who that might be?” I’m like WHAT!? In my head. I tell her the truth that I don’t know who it is, and then she mentions that girl that this whole post has been about so far.

Instantly I know why the kids came in to “report” me and what the girl is basing it off of. I basically told her about how we WERE great friends, and that she insulted me a few times the other day I swore at her a walked off and that I hadn’t talked to her since. She told me I wasn’t in trouble and she just wanted to understand the situation.

So let me explain a few things.

This girl I liked is a very sensitive person when it comes to others. So this “harassment thing” Is based off her being angry at me/hating me, and the time I was a bit crazy with all of the emotions that came back to me.

She is now (to what I’m guessing to be true) spreading the rumour around to her friends, that I’m harassing her. Which I never did and are currently not doing to her.

Not fun this could become a legal issue If she really wants to “get back at me” or whatever her reason for saying I’m harassing her is.

Well I got out what I need to. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and any help you can give is welcome.

Ok, I know I haven’t been updating at all the past few week. The thing is though, is that I moved. then school started not to long after. So I’ve been pretty busy with school and since my dad has to pick me up after school, I have barely any time to go on the computer..

So anyways. School sucks..

I’m gonna rant a bit here.

I signed up for a shit load of computer design classes, and I got none of them. Probably because they’re full of kids looking for an easy A >.> Which in those classes, are hard to get.

Also, I believe I was thrown in the stupid class for general science. Since I’m really the only smart guy in the class. Not trying to be racist here, but I think it’s because most of the kids are either latino or black.. I say that because they’re all “gangsta” and crap.

Either way my classes are decent but meh..

I’ll be posting a few more tumbler posts over the next few days/weeks about a few things..

Okay, I’ll be honest here since it’s not something I’m ashamed of.

I LOVE cute things! Like kittens, and puppies. (see title ^)

Just the other day I got Nintendogs + Cats and have been REALLY enjoying it.

Unlike the first game which was just a stress reliever. This one is a bit more revamped. The competitions take more training and actually taking care of you pet and not just feed, and groom them, but also manage their weight.

It’s really enjoyable, minus the odd eyes on my dog, but that’s why he’s wearing shades.

How I was able to get this game was a bit different from how I ask for other games.

Normally I have to ask my dad, then beg, then promise chores. Then I get the game.

This time was surprisingly easy. All I did was ask him. He looked it up. Saw the website and then took me to Game Stop then lunch.

It helps that my dad is also a sucker for the adorableness of animals.

The funny thing is, is that he was more enthusiastic about getting the game than I was!

So I got the Golden Lab version since my dad wanted me to get a pug as a dog (it was the only version with pugs..)

Now I have a virtual version of my dog. Ben. A bit more friendly and outgoing than my real dog, and looking back I should have looked at his personality to try and fit him to my real dog.

I finally save up enough money for a cat ($880, much less than a dog..) and, since I promised my dad I get the cat with him, I went to the kennel and found the perfect match, to match my real cat.

Ever since we got Netflix on my Xbox I’ve been watching a lot of bad shows.

Well one bad show. Which was Pair of Kings. By disney..

My current one (which is in the title) Sonic Underground. I’ve been watching netflix on my 3DS (since Netflix is on the 3DS) and found sonic underground. I watched the first episode to see if it was really as bad as people say it is.

Well it WAS. The thing is though. Is that it’s like a train wreck or car crash. You can’t stop watching.

I’m only 6 episodes in I believe, and WOW do I have a few thoughts.

Life lessons:

In most shows the characters learn life lessons and slowly become a more filled out character. Just in this show they’re HORRIBLE at learning them.

In one episode the team (sonic, sonia and, manic) are looking for this magical town that only appears on their birthday in hopes of finding their mom.

When they find it, Manic. Just coming out of a life of petty street crimes. Loves the place and is finaly able to have a “home” to call his.

Though out the episode they lightly build this “problem” up.

At the end when the barely a conflict is solved.

The town is about to disappear for another year Manic states he’s going to stay as Sonic and Sonia with little to no second thoughts about leaving him leave. They get out and literally half a second after, manic comes back, and says he figured out his home is with them.. UGH. No tension AT ALL no drama NOTHING. Way to throw a life lesson at someone who doesn’t care to much for it..

Conflicts:

Like said in the last rant above. There is hardly any conflict in situations where the bad guys fighting them, or captured them.

Here’s an example.

In one episode sonic a manic are captured while looking for Sonia, (being the typical girl ran off to have a “spa” day) because the robot who was looking for Sonia, ran into them. Literally right behind a bush near where sonic and manic were captured is Sonia. So she climbs up the tree the net Sonic and Manic are in is hanging from, and cuts the rope holding the net up, then crushing the robot that just captured them 3 seconds ago..

Moving on.

The song scenes:

I should give a small explanation. Sonic Underground being the name of the show is also the name of the Shitty band of Sonic, Sonia, and Manic..

The scenes where they’re playing the songs is just like a horrible AMV you’d find on youtube.

The songs are stupid.

and With the bad voice actors they have playing them doesn’t help how their singing sounds..

(not a very long rant but you get it.. hopefully)

So anyways enough of my ramblings about Sonic underground for now.
